Our in-house team of fully qualified electricians can guide you through the whole process of applying for a grant from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV). This Government scheme makes a contribution towards the cost of installing an EV charging point.

Can I Claim the Electric Vehicle Homecharging Scheme (EVHS) Grant?
Unfortunately, the EVHS grant is no longer open to homeowners. The scheme was discontinued in April 2022 and was replaced by the EV Chargepoint Grant.
What is the EV Chargepoint Grant?
Whether you own your own flat or are renting your home, the EV Chargepoint Grant gives you the opportunity to claim £350 off the price of an EV charging point installation. In order to qualify, you need to meet certain criteria.
For example, you must live in the property where the charging point is being installed and it needs to have dedicated off-street parking. Applicants are required to own an EV vehicle or be assigned a company owned or leased EV car for at least six months. You can also qualify if you have ordered an eligible electric vehicle.
We can help you complete the EV Chargepoint Grant form and, as an OZEV approved installer, can fit your EV charging point and claim the grant on your behalf. Your installation invoice will be minus the £350 OZEV Grant.
What is the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)?
Similar to the domestic grant, the WCS scheme means UK businesses and other organisations can claim a £350 discount when installing EV charging points. A maximum of 40 grants are allowed per applicant, providing they have the necessary off-street parking and currently own/lease or have ordered EV vehicles.
Homeworkers are also eligible for WCS, as long as your home address is listed as your place of business with Companies House or HMRC.
