Introducing our key team members

Rising through the ranks of Site Manager and Contract Manager, Paul obtained his CIOB and joined the WGS team as a Senior Contract Manager in 2023.
Loves: Travel and cooking

Having been in HR management for over 14 years, Sue joined the WGS team as HR Manager and a member of the senior team in 2021.
Loves: Her grandchildren, walking, and speed (she doesn’t want to go to the moon but would love to have flown on Concorde!)

Having 40 years' experience in the electrical sector, Allan started his journey as an electrical apprentice, spending the first half of his career on-site gaining a list of qualifications including City & Guilds Electrical Installation & Testing 2436 Pt 1 and Pt 2 | CITB AM1 and AM2 Electrical Installations | 2396 Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Systems | 2391 Testing and Inspection.
After running his own electrical empire and gaining a wealth of knowledge, he joined the WGS team and now shares his expertise.
Loves: His passion outside of work is going to see premier league side Tottenham Hotspur - no further comments to be made!

Heading up our Architectural Services team, Kevin has more than 20 years’ post-study experience as a Technical Designer, Architectural Technologist and Programme Manager. He is well-versed in the RIBA stages of work, AutoCAD, and Microstation, as well as an in-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and full planning processes.
Loves: Outdoor activities with his sons, a good family BBQ and running the London Marathon – phew!

With a desire to return to the family business, Paul re-joined his father, and with a natural flair for numbers, soon took over the running of the finance sector, heading up the division before his father’s retirement. He now holds the position of Managing Director.
Loves: Formula 1 and gardening.

Joining us in 2023, Karen is the newest member of our senior management team.
Loves: Family time, scenic walks, and baking cupcakes!

He began his career in the early 1980s in a drawing office and progressed to Contract Manager roles, primarily based in London and working across a range of sectors. With a long-standing passion for health and safety, Graham achieved IOSH Chartered status ten years ago and brings extensive industry experience to the team.
Loves: Motorsport, rugby union (England Lions and Harlequins), football, music and cars.

Starting his career on a carpentry and joinery apprenticeship, Howard gained his City & Guilds qualification as well as acceptance into the Institute of Carpenters. He worked on major construction and housing sites before moving into the retail sector.
Howard has spent the last 20 years in senior management, utilising his expertise, and gaining his CIOB in the process.
Loves: Sport in general, anything that involves a ball, bat, track or pitch!

Phil has joined the WGS management team with a strong focus on service levels and client satisfaction - delivering schemes on time, within budget and to the highest standards possible.
Loves: Phil enjoys sports (in any guise) and spending time socialising in his garden.

Spreading his wings outside of WGS for a number of years, he continued his carpentry career - running fit-outs, refurbishments and building maintenance projects.
Ben re-joined WGS as a Senior Contract Manager, offering a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Loves: Sports (especially football), a decent film or box set, and being set upon by his 3 daughters!

Loves: Following Aston Villa, playing snooker, and playing the drums (not all at the same time!)
