We are pleased to showcase the successful completion of the refurbishment and CAT B fit-out of Boots UK‘s fourth-floor corporate offices at Sedley Place, Oxford Street. Delivered over a 20-week programme, the project transformed the existing workspace into a modern, high-specification office environment.
Located in the heart of London’s West End, the project presented significant logistical challenges. With no on-site storage, skip facilities or access to lifts for construction activities, all materials and demolition arisings were manually transferred via stair access and carefully coordinated with vehicle movements on one of the capital’s busiest pedestrian routes.
The project involved the complete strip-out of the existing office accommodation, removal of redundant building services and rooftop plant, followed by the delivery of a comprehensive CAT B fit-out. The finished space includes contemporary open-plan working areas, upgraded meeting and boardroom facilities, bespoke joinery, enhanced welfare facilities, new mechanical and electrical services, a fully refurbished reception area and a replacement passenger lift serving six floors.
Through careful planning, stakeholder engagement and close collaboration with Boots UK, Whittam Cox and the wider project team, we successfully delivered the scheme while offices and retail operations remained fully operational throughout the programme.
